Can’t make it to JazzFest? Let JazzFest come to you. The Funky Meters are set to strut it up for a benefit at Pisgah Brewing on May 16 in Black Mountain, N.C.

The Meters were formed at JazzFest and are about as base New Orleans as it gets when we’re talking about music. (The Funky Meters are an offshoot because bands always end up fighting with each other.)

They’re pairing with Earphunk and George Porter Jr. & The Runnin’ Pardners to form the concert collection performing at Pisgah.

Show time is 5:30 p.m. ET with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Tickets are $27 ahead of time, $32 the day of the show and you can purchase them here.

There’s also a $60 VIP Brewmaster option which features (but isn’t limited to):  “early entry to the event, a private guided tour and tasting, commemorative posters, as well as access into our exclusive VIP private viewing area close to the stage.  The VIP area is equipped with its own cash bar and private portable restroom for your convenience.”

Tickets are on sale right now and $2 for every ticket sold will be donated to Funding America Through Entertainment(FATE) and LEAF Community Arts.
