What it is, though, is a beer that lets the pumpkin do what it should: accentuate it’s front porch. The stars of this beer is the cacao and the chile spices. Sure, the nutmeg is still there (especially up front) but it devolves into a chocolate heat that keeps your tongue guessing.
If you’re looking for pie in a glass, look elsewhere. However, if you’re look for more of a darker ride in the pumpkin patch, Xibalba fits that bill for sure.
